Federal elections are in even-numbered years. The Primary Election is the first Thursday in August. The General Election is the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. The Presidential Preference primary may be the second Tuesday in March.

U.S. Senator (currently Alexander): term of office is 6 years and upcoming elections are 2014, 2020 ...

U.S. Senator (currently Corker): term of office is 6 years and upcoming elections are 2012, 2018 ...

U.S. President and Vice President: term of office is 4 years and upcoming elections are 2012, 2016 ...
